Aufgaben To have waste disposed and managed properly and thus promote environmental sustainability at the site. Manage compliance, including legal compliance and act as a representative in engagements with external suppliers/ companies.

The Job Requirements

  • Strong understanding of legal and compliance standards and frameworks for waste management and environmental systems.
  • Project Management Skills
  • ISO 14001 and related standars

Outputs
  • Ensure Environmental Facts and Figures are compiled timeously
  • Ensure timeous update of DUDIS system for Daimler AG
  • Facilitate communication of SHE legislation Interpretation and Dissemination
  • Compile environmental communication; ensure timeous submission for plant communication packs
  • Ensure all Waste, Water and CO2 and VOC’s are monitored as per schedules
  • Co-ordination of plant water monitoring and waste contracts
  • Facilitation and Co-ordination of all activities for annual Environmental Events
  • Prepare SHE Indicators and all relevant content for Plant SHE Report to be ready and published
  • Ensure Facility register is merged with Legal Register and required permits are incorporated and up to date
  • Review / Revise SHEQ training prospectus
  • Manage contractor performance daily
  • Coordinate Plant specific training of SHEQ practitioners / co-ordinators
  • Coordinate Plant Basic SHE training
Qualifikationen
  • Minimum NQF 6 in Environmental Management/SHE or relevant equivalent
  • 3 years’ experience or relevant equivalent experience or
  • At least 6 months participation in our Graduate Development Programme
